fall break!!😆😆

Zaterdag 17 oktober

Vandaag de day after begin ik rustig in bed. Even bijkomen/relaxen op bed.

Maaike mijn vriendinnetje kwam even rustig bijkletsen.

One of the biggest things I hope to teach my children is to have grateful hearts and compassion for others 🤍

mention COLOR and I’ll send you the 🔗 ! 🤍

There’s a FREE downloadable coloring book 🎨 that shares stories of children around the world and helps start these meaningful conversations with our little ones.

As a mom of four, I’m reminded daily how easy it is to take the little things for granted. A safe home, clean water, food on our table, access to healthcare, and the opportunity to learn.

But for so many families around the world, these basic necessities aren’t guaranteed.

I’ve been learning more about the work Corus International is doing to help communities access the essentials they need to survive and thrive, and it’s reminded me just how important it is to raise children who see beyond their own little world 🌎

Because teaching our kids kindness, gratitude, and compassion starts at home.

Some Days Are Just Like

Thank you for dropping by,
However, I will only be filling
My cup today.

You’re going to need to siphon
Someone else’s time and attention.
Mine has already been allocated.

But then you realize you’re a parent,
And that’s not an option…

Hopping into #liformepinkyogis with hosts @yogi.hemaxi @rhythm_of_yoga and sponsor @liforme in honor of my dear friend who was diagnosed, underwent treatment, and rang the bell this year. She wouldn’t want me to share her name, but she was so brave and inspiring throughout the entire process I felt compelled (for the first time in years) to play in a challenge in her honor 🎀😘

Her level of kindness and consideration are unparalleled. She was diagnosed shortly before I was to leave on holiday, but didn’t want me to worry about her while I was meant to be enjoying myself. When I got back, she threw me an amazing birthday party and told me her news racked with guilt for not having told me sooner. Bless her 🫶
