![Steve-O has said that he is “ashamed to have whey protein” as “an animal guy.”
The stunt performer made the comments during a conversation with YouTuber Mike Varshavski, aka Doctor Mike, during an episode of the podcast Steve-O’s Wild Ride!
During his interview with Doctor Mike, Steve-O describes his “alarming addiction” to Barebells protein bars. He estimates that he eats from two to four per day, and says the low sugar content is compatible with his “very low sugar diet.”
Steve-O says, “It’s a lot of bars,” and adds, “I’m ashamed to admit that it’s whey protein, and as an animal guy, […] I’m not a vegan anymore, but like I’m pescatarian and so whey is not pescatarian, but like I can’t help it. They’re that delicious.”](https://s6.imginn.com/843760767_18638919706057258_3032213642043957277_n.jpg?t51.82787-15/843760767_18638919706057258_3032213642043957277_n.jpg?stp=dst-jpg_e35_p720x720_tt6&_nc_cat=102&ig_cache_key=NDAwNTcxMjU3MzI5NDcyOTU0Mw%3D%3D.3-ccb7-5&ccb=7-5&_nc_sid=58cdad&efg=eyJ2ZW5jb2RlX3RhZyI6IkNBUk9VU0VMX0lURU0ueHBpZHMuMTA4MC5zZHIucmVndWxhcl9waG90by5DMyJ9&_nc_ohc=oCc_KdrNvRwQ7kNvwGJsW55&_nc_oc=AdrpFsxzdG5YOQ9ukbHtyOEx8xBkUm_oGZOS82STAhixXx-nl3-17rpGgAl0Mlbe28Qe5Gug-GatBEKNleuh7k40&_nc_zt=23&_nc_ht=scontent-mia5-1.cdninstagram.com&_nc_gid=HYPFxw87ML64ezq0CiInjA&_nc_ss=70689&oh=00_AQMLCt76wVVrTlCULKT-ypUEai5zGZ5hKtiEgvkcygJ_Ug&oe=6AD687B5)
