I Was 15 yrs Old!!! I Could’ve Never Imagined Raising Such A Well-Rounded Individual, And As A Single Parent At That! The journey wasn’t easy, but God’s grace carried us through EVERY challenge. He has blessed us beyond measure, and I’m forever grateful. 🥹❤️ Just had to take a moment to appreciate and share that. That’s My Twin FR 🤞🏽🤞🏽❤️

The rivalry between Riddick Bowe and Andrew Golota produced two of the most chaotic heavyweight fights of the 1990s. Bowe entered their first meeting in July 1996 as a former undisputed champion, while Golota was looking to prove himself against one of boxing’s biggest names. What followed was a brutal fight in which Golota repeatedly outboxed Bowe, landed heavy punches and appeared close to pulling off a major upset. But Golota kept making the same costly mistake. Despite having the advantage, he repeatedly punched below the belt, leaving Bowe on the canvas in pain. The referee deducted points before finally disqualifying Golota in the seventh round. The ending sparked an enormous brawl at Madison Square Garden, with members of Bowe’s entourage rushing into the ring and violence spreading around the arena. More than 20 people were injured, turning an already controversial fight into one of boxing’s most infamous nights. The rematch in December was supposed to give Golota a chance to settle the rivalry properly. Once again, he looked capable of winning, knocking Bowe down twice and controlling much of the action. Yet once again, repeated fouls ruined his performance. After a headbutt and further low blows, Golota was disqualified in the ninth round with just two seconds remaining, handing Bowe a second victory by disqualification. That is what made Golota such a frustrating figure in boxing. He had the size, power and technical ability to trouble elite heavyweights, and in both fights he appeared to have Bowe in serious trouble. But instead of finishing the job within the rules, he repeatedly crossed the line and threw away opportunities that could have transformed his career. Bowe walked away with two official wins, but neither fight felt like a conventional victory. Golota had repeatedly hurt him, while the illegal blows left Bowe writhing on the canvas and the crowds furious. Twice, Golota seemed capable of beating a former heavyweight champion—and twice, he ended up defeating himself.
It’s Thursday. And I’ll be honest… I did not want to get up and work out today. But I got up. Because I’m trying to impress myself. And I’m hard to impress.
