@theacademy what a night! 🀍 thank you for having me in such room to celebrate the people that have paved the way.
I live to see another week 🫠
Ladies, let me say this! πŸ’― Why would you work hard for your body, put in the time at the gym, and NOT want to show off your progress?! Wear what makes YOU feel confident! You worked for that body, baby! πŸ’ͺ🏽 And for the men calling women names because of what they wear to the gym, let me make something clear: EVERYTHING I WEAR IS WORKOUT ATTIRE! I’m dressed to WORK OUT, not to impress you, get your attention, or seek your approval. I wear what I like, and I’m going to continue wearing what makes ME feel good! Ladies, stop letting other people’s opinions dictate your confidence. You put in the work, so own your progress! And if you have a problem with what I wear? KEEP SCROLLING, BABY! πŸ˜‚βœŒπŸ½ My gym, my body, my clothes, MY BUSINESS! πŸ’…πŸ½πŸ”₯ #confidenceiskey
the songs that make people DANCE AND MOVE πŸ₯΅ link to the playlist and all our HEALTHY RAVE events in bio where should we come next with our raves? leave a comment and I will try to make it happen!
tornπŸ₯€ - PLEASE DONT SEND KY KELLY ANY HATE! This episode was really hard lol! Hearing jokes about things i’ve specifically battled with, paired with exhaustion of filming the competition, just felt overwhelming in that moment. I’ve struggled with self image issues all my life & I’ve done a lot of work to undo that & feel comfortable in my body. Hearing read after read about things I couldn’t change in that moment put me back into the mind of my childhood self that was bullied for these things in school. I let the girls know I was feeling fragile as we saw, so what came next really set off my fight or flight. I want to reiterate that you should NOT send KY hate at all, seeing her receive any kind of hate genuinely upsets me. I don’t like how she behaved but it isn’t anyone’s business except my own to feel deeply about that. Please respect my wishes on this! The combination of my headspace from the reading challenge, Kelly coming at me and no one checking in on or defending me sent me deeper into an overwhelmed and isolated headspace and resurfaced childhood trauma and I tried to defend myself the best I could. Growing up I was surrounded by drug and alcohol abuse, domestic violence at home and feeling like I was alone/had to take care of myself. I’m at peace with the circumstances of my childhood and am an open book about my experiences however I don’t respond well to aggression or being shouted at and I’m very conflict avoidant in these situations. I’m proud of myself for how I handled everything. I am the sum of all my parts and i would always choose to live my life exactly the same way again and again because that’s the reason I am the strong person I am today. i love you all! thank you x photo: @mtyparks assistance: @itsstarlet outfit: @chadwickstudios.ldn and myself dyed by @itsstarlet stoned by @theingarock hat by myself! hair: @walklettwigs #dragraceuk #dragrace #dragqueen #phantomoftheopera #musicaltheatre
Here is a simple layered look with my shirt that looks like I’ve been locked up. The long ribbed tee is from @abercrombie, the wide pants are from @cosstores and the rest I’ve tagged. Weather it’s a shirt or an oversized tee using the long sleeve is a good way to add interest whilst you brace for the cold πŸ₯Ά Shot on Iphone and Canon R6 mark 2 #abercrombie #mensstyle #canon
