One Word For Her ….? 👀🙈

I’m genuinely curious if anyone wakes up every day and for the most part is pretty happy, calm and collected? Because I’m not sure that’s ever been my reality🤪😅

I’ve always been some level of feeling a bit anxious and a bit down and depressed, but I’ve had coping mechanisms that have helped pull me through in the past.🙏

I guess at some point I lost them or maybe life just piled up a little too much? 🤷‍♀️

I think I’m a pretty positive person and I like to look at the bright side so I just kinda hate that this is my reality.🙄 I want to fix it and change it so bad, but man, it’s hard.🤦🏼‍♀️

One thing I know is that I’m not gonna give up.💪 I am gonna figure it out! My doc has me starting another medicine and increased the Zoloft! and I’m really thankful to my girlfran on here who recommended Genesite (sp?) because my doctor ordered that and so now I can see if this medicine is actually working or not for me???

and that’s the power of social media — I wouldn’t have even known to ask about that if I hadn’t put this out there! yesterday a girlfran recommended it in a comment and about 20 more after her did too so thank you all so much for commenting and being here with me. I really appreciate it.🙏 probably more than you realize🫶

This time I’m not going to disappear and try to fight this alone … I’m going to be stronger & share it just in case maybe it helps someone else 🙏🙏🙏

And seriously, curious if you wake up most days happy & calm & excited for the day? Bc I don’t really remember a time in my life where that was the norm🤪😅

too much fun🙃💫

I’ll admit, it feels so weird to do this life alone. I’ll even hazard a guess and say most of us who find ourselves here would agree, it’s not what we were chasing in the beginning.

I called one of my best friends the other day and heard all about his son, his brilliant wife, and how the chickens they were raising had just laid their first eggs. A beautiful life.
Such a juxtaposition to the one I have.
Ironically, he’s younger than me and living the life I always felt predestined for. The one I felt drawn to. Maybe even chased and charmed my way towards (admittedly, at the detriment of past lovers).

And yet, here I am, at the furthest point from the thing I wanted the most.
Drifting further out, it feels a bit like a Wes Anderson movie. Me, looking through binoculars back toward the shore of a rainbow (Row)-colored normality. Commiserating with my what-ifs and if-onlys, wondering how I ended up in this boat by myself. Wondering where my dog went.

Who knew happiness could be found in the opposite of what I thought I wanted? Maybe still do.
Not lonely, just alone. 🚣🏻
