In 2020, I came across @girltrek and these women changed my life! When the world was so confusing & scary, Vanessa & Morgan helped me channel that energy into bettering myself through their walk & talks - energizing my body, stimulating my brain, and nurturing my soul.

Yesterday, GirlTREK with NBA Total Health hosted the first All-Star Weekend Walk to practice the revolutionary act of celebrating self-care, sisterhood, and wellness. The first face I saw when I arrived at 8am was THE @vanessatreks 🥹 It rained a little, but even the sun was inspired to break through the clouds by the words of @lisaleslie & @jalenjdubwilliams Keeping the energy positive was @djladyryan who has us groovin before we started movin and @tune2tunde helped us shake off the rain & warm up our muscles to get it started.

It was beautiful to see all the shapes & shades, from all over the Bay that came out for a 3 mile walk in my backyard, Golden Gate Park. I might have attended solo, but I never felt like I was walking alone 💛
