“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” — Philippians 4:6-7
We all crave peace, but not everything that promises it delivers.
The world will tell you that peace can be found in drugs, alcohol, sex outside of marriage, relationships, gym culture, career success, or chasing money. But those things only offer temporary comfort—they don’t heal the emptiness inside. The peace they give fades, leaving you feeling more lost and anxious than before.
True peace—the kind that guards your heart and mind—only comes from Jesus Christ. It’s a peace that doesn’t depend on circumstances but comes through surrender, prayer, and trusting that He’s got your back.
For those walking with Jesus: stay close. Keep bringing your worries to Him, and let His peace carry you through every high and low.
For those who feel lost: it’s never too late to return. No mistake is too great, and no distance is too far for His grace to reach you.
If you’re tired of chasing peace in all the wrong places, I invite you to pray:
“Jesus, I’ve tried to find peace everywhere else, but I still feel empty. I surrender my heart to You. I believe You died for me, and I ask You to be my peace, my Savior, and my guide from this day forward. Amen.”
If you prayed that prayer, welcome home. His arms have been open for you all along. 🤍
