Captured in lands where soft bellies are a sign of beauty and proudly displayed at every age, shape, and state. A reminder that your perception of beauty has been created by your cultural beliefs & companies that profit off your insecurities.

I always found it amusing traveling between India and the West over the last 18 years - the polarities in the beauty ideals projected. One culture fake tans, the other has skin bleach in most of the beauty products, one tells me that my soft belly should be toned & the other that my toned parts should be softer ( I literally had a someone pinching at my waist last year telling me - too skinny - not beautiful - this is why you don’t have a husband 😂).

Like a lot of women, I spent years at war with my body & the process of re-wiring our minds to see beauty in these body temples we are gifted for life rather than only seeing what we want to change or what we don’t approve of is something I teach to often in the hopes we can practise being kinder to ourselves and more at home in our bodies.
