There is nothing more special in this world to me then to carry another life inside. To move with two heartbeats, to dream two separate dreams… to dive in and through the veil between heaven and earth to bring a beautiful soul earthside. What a privilege and honor it is to be your mother. ❤️🙏 #38weekspregnant #prenatalyoga
Bird of prey over the Bay 🌉 The @f22demoteam took to the skies over San Francisco to show some love to our sister services during the Fleet Week Air Show. Since 1981, this city-wide celebration has been a spectacular way to unite military and civilian communities while honoring the men and women serving in our @USNavy, @Marines and @USCG. 📍 San Francisco, California 📸 by Staff Sgt. Not pictured: us searching up property in Montana and having to talk each other out of moving here tomorrow. Vast, the word or the weekend. There is something so special about Montana. Even with the snow (which most know I don’t really appreciate 😝) this place along with this man, did wonders for my soul. Before you roll your eyes at a curated Instagram highlight reel, trust me when I say this short trip away as husband and wife wasn’t all easy. We haven’t done something like this in a while. Kids and life are always an excuse. It was important for us to have some hard conversations out here in the middle of nowhere about, our family, our marriage, and our future. There were tears and struggles, but that is part of how you make it work 23 years in. We keep choosing each other, and putting God at the center. And no matter what happens I will always say yes to Montana with you babe. It’s one hell or a view. And you in waders…. Wow 😍 We shot a podcast live from @themeadowsonrockcreek make sure you sign up for my newsletter to get the link when it drops. We talk all about our marriage, and the struggles we’ve faced. two years ago today anora premiered… i was newly 20 and had just spent the weekend in the ER in los angeles because i didn’t eat anything for 13 days straight and was completely addicted to benzodiazepines. i had been released from the psych ward two months prior. the entire weekend i prayed that refeeding syndrome would not strike me so i could turn a look… im still here to tell the tale! next month ill be two years clean from prescription drug abuse… i was high off my gourd most of the time but one thing about me is im still gonna create iconography for myself… the making of and subsequent reception of anora has been one of the greatest things i have ever experienced and i am so lucky to have such a colossal artifact through which i can track my own coming of age. these photos were taken by jackson griffin and im wearing custom elena velez :-)
