customizing my husband’s flight mask 🪖 painting a custom flight mask for my husband, a U.S. Army Black Hawk crew chief, inspired by traditional Korean culture for my mask, i looked through a bunch of photos of traditional korean gwimyeonwa, which are these roof tiles with scary looking faces that were meant to ward off evil spirits. one thing i noticed was the nose! a lot of the korean ones have really noticeable nostrils that face forward, almost like a pig’s nose lol that was one of the differences i noticed compared to japanese ones i also saw that a lot of the silla era ones i looked at had their mouths open with their tongues sticking out a little, so i wanted to include that too. the green was inspired by green glazed gwimyeonwa, and i wanted to use traditional korean dancheong colors as a reference for the color palette. i also added some korean traditional style cloud patterns in the background #usarmy #militaryaircraft #militaryspouse #custompainting milso

Unbelievable day out to watch the NFL in London 🏈🇬🇧 Growing up in a region where everyone around me cared about football and the Bills, I pushed back and solely stuck with soccer. Now that I’ve been away from home for some time, I’ve realized that the love for the sport isn’t just for the sport itself, but also the community that comes with it. Being able to watch American football across the pond is so cool and helped me feel a little closer to home (especially with all the northern accents from the eagles fans 🦅). Excited to continue to grow my love for the sport and the Bills 🦬🏈💙❤️ Thank you so much @skysports for such a great experience :) #skysportsnfl #nfl #nfluk #buffalobills
