Madeleine Sorenson

I am so honored to have received the Best Directing award from the College 48 Hour Film Project in both 2024 and 2025. I never thought of myself as a director before last year, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to continue to explore all facets of creativity in filmmaking! Anyone who knows me is aware of my love for this competition and I encourage everyone to give it a try. All it takes is a phone and some friends. You’ll be amazed what you can accomplish in just a weekend! :) 🎬🎉

The College 48 has doubled in size in just one year, from 24 teams to 50 teams across 38 schools in the US. I watched all 50 films this year immediately, and I’m blown away by the talent and artistry in each film. See you all next year!!
