On March 30th 2024, I suited up for the very first time. A big beginner mistake to not test the suit at home first. Spent most of the morning at @anime_ottawa in the cosplay lounge fixing the backpack receiving support and good words from all the cosplayers coming through. Enough that I even registered for a very first masquerade, not knowing what I was getting into.
Through the first year we have met incredible people and a fantastic supportive community. Here’s a big shout out to some people who have made that first day but also the first year something that brought Evy and I closer and made us dive fully in our geek/nerd side.

Ah man I feel that “did not test the cosplay at home before walking into a convention” mood right in the gut. XD I still do this sometimes and it always comes back to bite you in the butt!! I’m so happy you guys got into cosplay and we got to meet! You’re a joy to have in the community :) ❤️❤️
