Jacob Coleman-Berry

Went to Washington DC for the first time as part of the Collective for the National Low Income Housing Coalition to talk about Tenant rights and go advocate/talk about what I was seeing in Washington State. Also, talked about my lived experiences with the police in front of important people as part of the skit we created. I talked to senators, house of representatives, etc. I also got to experience DCs amazing food, their African American Museum, and their night life. It was such an amazing experience and I can’t wait to go back. The Collective has been so amazing and I can’t wait to be more involved.
