Introducing the Yannick Nézet-Séguin Mentorship Program—a new chapter for the next generation of conductors.

@nezetseguin, in partnership with @rolex, is opening the door to a new kind of mentorship—one that goes beyond the podium to explore what it takes to lead, inspire, and shape the future of classical music.

The journey begins with a conducting workshop this season, where four conductors will be selected to work with the @philorch and the @metopera orchestra. Two will then be chosen for the inaugural year-long mentorship, beginning in September 2027.

Applications are now open, closing November 15. Learn more at mentorship.yannicknezetseguin.com.

Somewhere along the way, "we're so close" turned into "we're basically the same person." And that's exactly when desire starts quietly disappearing.

Attraction needs two people, not one merged identity sharing a room, a closet, and an opinion about everything. Having your own space isn't distance. It's what keeps you from dissolving into "us" so completely that there's no one separate left to actually want.

Staying two, even inside a marriage, might be the thing that keeps the desire alive longer than anything else.

Dogbone is finally out in the world after nearly two years of work. This is the film that made me realise what I want to do with my life.

We made it for £4k. A budget that size shouldn’t buy a film like this. But it did, and that’s purely down to the people. 11 locations, 30 cast/crew and 40+ extras.

I’m grateful for moments like hand-making 60 butties in our kitchen. Seeing an entire set come together over a mad game of footy on a lunch break. Working with a janitor who gave us access to his entire school because he believed in our story.

That’s the biggest thing producing this taught me. Honest conversations with real people open doors. Thank you to everyone who gave their time to make this film what it is. It’s available to watch on @thornfilm YouTube now ❤️

Scorpios don't just show up to an event, they make an entrance that has people looking twice without even realizing they're staring. They could walk into a room full of people they don't know, say absolutely nothing, and somehow become the person everyone is curious about. It's not even always about what they're wearing, although Scorpio will rarely show up looking like they didn't put any thought into their appearance. It's the energy they carry. They have this way of looking completely unbothered while quietly observing everything happening around them. They're noticing who keeps looking at them, who's acting differently around certain people, who's being fake, and who's trying a little too hard to get attention. Meanwhile, everyone else is still figuring out where to sit. 😂 Scorpio doesn't need to be the loudest person in the room because they understand that being mysterious can be far more interesting than telling everybody everything about themselves. They'll look stunning, keep their conversations selective, give people just enough attention to be polite, and leave before anyone gets the chance to figure them out completely. And if someone catches their eye, they'll make it look so effortless that nobody can tell whether they're flirting or simply being nice. The funniest part is that Scorpio might spend the entire event looking intimidating, only to go home and never think about half the people who were busy thinking about them. Scorpio doesn't chase the spotlight at every function. They just walk in, become the plot, and leave everyone else wondering what just happened. 🖤🪽♏
