Today, at @morehouseschoolofmedicine Community Service Day, I stood alongside @openhandatlanta , not just to serve—but to fight for health equity.

Imagine being told to “eat healthy” to manage a chronic illness, but the foods you need are out of reach. That’s the reality for thousands in our community. So today, every meal we packed was medically tailored—designed to help those battling diabetes, hypertension, and other chronic diseases get the nutrition they need to heal.

This isn’t charity—it’s justice. Food is medicine, and access to it shouldn’t be a privilege.
