6 month update — Well we’re about a week shy of 6 months, but still all the same right? Since my work visa was rejected, my life has definitely shifted on its axis. There have definitely been moments of gratitude for the experiences I’ve been allowed to have with many members of my family. Many of which I don’t think I would have ever truly gotten to know as individual humans, were this not my situation. But as grateful as I am, I am still overcome with waves of pain and grief. Losing my entire life so abruptly was never something I could have prepared for. Nor is it something that is easy to navigate. Honestly a rather traumatic experience that I doubt I’ll ever find the words to explain. I feel lost most of the time. Sometimes empty. But I’ve found a window of hope by staying in motion. Either by going on runs to move my body or exploring more of my home country weeks at a time with different family. As long as I keep moving and keep my mind occupied, I can find the will to stay positive. And as a realist, it’s very hard for me to hold on to the bright side of things. How’s that saying go? Depression can’t hit a moving target…anyway here’s some photos exploring movement & emotion
one last appreciation post for the best day ever ever!!
Finding your soulmate is special, but building a life together like #DivyankaTripathi and #VivekDahiya is pure magic.
