Australian rugby league star Jaime Chapman has become an unexpected viral sensation after photos from the 2024 Dally M Awards resurfaced across social media. A post featuring Chapman in a black lace gown was shared on X on October 7, 2026, and climbed to nearly six million views within roughly two days.

The attention introduced a much wider audience to an already accomplished player. Chapman, 24, plays centre for the Gold Coast Titans in the NRLW and finished the 2026 regular season with nine tries in 11 appearances while averaging 131 running metres per game. She has also represented New South Wales and Australia, scoring three tries in her Jillaroos debut at the 2022 Rugby League World Cup.

Chapman was also named to the NRLW Community Team of the Year in 2026 and became a finalist for the Veronica White Medal for her work supporting communities across the Gold Coast and Northern Rivers.

The viral photos may have introduced millions of people to Chapman, but her résumé already includes an NRLW career, State of Origin appearances and a Rugby League World Cup championship with Australia. @jaime.chapman

Throwing it back to this Samba from The Next Pro, the show that gave me my dream. ❤️

I will always have a special love for traditional Latin and ballroom dancing. There’s something so powerful about a pure Samba, staying true to its roots, its technique, its rhythm, and most importantly, its character. That’s exactly what I wanted to capture through this choreography.

That raw, authentic, and vulnerable side of Latin dancing is what made me fall in love with it in the first place, and it’s what I’ll continue to carry with me. I feel so lucky that I get to live out my passion and share my love for dance every single week on dancing with the Stars iconic stage⭐️

The @valkyries were honored during the @warriors game tonight as the newest @wnba CHAMPS! 👏🏆

WOWWWWW‼️
