Let Catherine and Charlotte enjoy a day out in peace! A mother and daughter should be able to spend time together without a private outing becoming public content. Photographing or filming Princess Catherine and Princess Charlotte, then sharing the images, is intrusive and unnecessary. There is an important distinction between legitimate public-interest reporting and coverage that merely satisfies curiosity. Reporting on an official engagement, a public statement, or conduct relevant to Catherine’s constitutional role can serve a clear public purpose. Recording her and Charlotte during an ordinary family outing does not. Catherine’s public position does not make every moment of her life public property, and Charlotte deserves to enjoy everyday experiences without being placed under scrutiny. The tabloid that published the photos of Catherine and Charlotte should have recognised that this was a private family moment, not a matter of public interest. Being in public is not an invitation to record or publish. The fact that someone is recognisable does not, by itself, make private family time newsworthy. Those who admire the family can support their public work while respecting the moments they choose to keep private. My account will not publish the photos or contribute to the circulation of images from this outing. A royal title should never erase personal boundaries—or a child’s right to a childhood. #PrincessCharlotte KateMiddleton #PrinceWilliam #PrincessCatherine #PrinceOfWales

“Thirty years ago at the Oscars, I wore a Chanel Couture dress… This isn’t the exact same dress, but it’s a new interpretation of that original look I wore on the red carpet. Wearing this version now, brings me right back.” - Céline Dion An iconic 1997 Karl Lagerfeld red carpet look, reimagined for a new era by Matthieu Blazy.  An iconic full circle moment.
