Dad lost his reading glasses. 

He often misplaced them, but always found them again within an hour or two. On this occasion, he’d lost a brand new pair and we’d all fruitlessly turned the place upside down looking for them. Weeks later, out of the blue this selfie appeared in the family group chat; no explanation needed - hero result, he’d found them! I love this photo of him, it’s so goofy and sweet at the same time. 

Today my Dad would have been 80 years old. I can’t believe it’s been almost a decade since he’s passed. He was an amazing man and I miss him immensely. Happy birthday Dadso. xo
