✨ Work Anniversary Milestone! (LinkedIn saw it first)

Wow, over 2 YEARS since stepping into my very first non-profit role with Calgary Economic Development’s TalentED YYC. This project truly OPENED THE WORLD for this prairie girl. It’s been an incredible journey: working with start-ups, SMBs, post-secondary institutions, employer engagement, building strong cross-sector relationships, business resource development, leading workshops, hosting panels, and ultimately making the biggest leap of all — transitioning to a career in marketing and joining a new team. Every moment of the past two years has been transformative!

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗜 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹 𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲!

My future has never felt brighter, and I owe so much of that to everything D’Andre has poured into me over these last couple of years. Being part of the TalentED YYC project has been one of the most meaningful experiences of my life. Seeing the impact, feeling the purpose, and collaborating with some of the most passionate, and brilliant people nationally — it’s been truly unimaginable.

To the entire TalentED YYC dream team — you are all absolute rockstars. Thank you for teaching me, and showing me what it means to truly care about the work you do. You’ve taught me what it means to be driven by a mission and to work beyond just a bottom line (also shoutout to CRUSHING our KPIs!). Every brainstorming session, every pivot, every late night and win — I’ve learned so much from each of you, and it’s been a joy along the way!

Finally, a huge thank you to my amazing friends and colleagues at Calgary Economic Development. Your support, partnership, and vision have been absolutely instrumental these last couple of years. Thank you for everything you do to help this city thrive, and for allowing me to be a small part of it.
