Every addiction starts by giving you everything and ends by leaving you with nothing. 💔🔄 At first it feels like the answer. The stress fades, everything seems lighter and for a moment, life feels easy. So you go back. But each time, it gives a little less and takes a little more. What once felt like relief becomes something you need just to feel normal. It works the same way with anything that hijacks your brain. Gambling, your phone, the endless scroll, substances. Slowly, it drains the color out of everything else in your life. By the time most people notice, they’re not chasing the feeling anymore. They’re chasing the person they used to be before it started. Breaking free is hard, but it’s possible, and nobody has to do it alone. Every day you choose yourself, a little more of the color comes back. Nothing that slowly steals your life is worth a few minutes of relief.
