I’m incredibly honored to be featured in the article, “Four Women Who Started Businesses After the Age of 45”. Starting Scoopanova has been an exciting, challenging, and deeply rewarding journey—combining my lifelong love of entrepreneurship with the joy of creating something that brings happiness to others.

As the article shares, my path to founding Scoopanova was far from conventional. I’ve worn many hats throughout my career, but it wasn’t until later in life that I decided to fully embrace my passion for ice cream. Every experience along the way shaped the resilience, creativity, and confidence that helped me take the leap into this new venture.

Scoopanova was born from a simple idea: to craft ice cream that sparks joy and brings people together. Starting later in life allowed me to draw on decades of skills and knowledge to build a business I’m truly passionate about. What began with six flavours and a humble truck has grown into a store, and I’m now looking forward to expanding nationwide—and beyond.
