2 years agoThis is my twenty year old son. Never properly diagnosed—ADHD, ODD, Social Pragmatic Communication Disorder, etc. He is brilliant, truly, but stuck at the moment. Graduated high school, now stuck. He held a few short lived jobs, failed his first attempt at college; how do I help him find his purpose? He is in the reclusive stage for the past few years and I so wish to bring him out!
2 years agoThank you. I’m working with several clients once 22 years old and it’s been isolated in his room for three years and I just took him to a concert in Los Angeles. And then my other clients 26 years old both were diagnosed within the last three months with autism level one and I was able to help my second client get a job and now loves to play pokerwith other people all the time lol
2 years agoAlso all our struggles are education for others to learn/ so that autism is more accepted in this world.
2 years agoThank you for the acknowledgment of the disabling component of autism that many tend to oversee and even gaslight! (PS I love the actually autistic hashtag! IYKYK!)
2 years agoThis is me right now! Thank you for this post. As a Brit with Autism I don’t usually get emotional, but oddly I did here.
2 years agoYou are unique, not because of autism, but as a human being. You are truly phenomenal, Russell. Thank you for doing this. I’m autistic, and you voice what I cannot convey. Keep living @russl.co
