Four Reasons Why You Don't Feel Qualified To Help Others But Actually Are👇
Tag someone who is really good at helping others and give them a confidence boost!
Unless we are talking about being a doctor or a licensed professional, the reasons that you think make you qualified to help others probably aren't.
Education is great. I learn daily.
But education alone doesn't make you qualified.
Same thing goes for degrees and this definitely applies to the approval of others.
There have been plenty of times where I didn't "feel" confident enough to help others, but I try my best to remember that who I "feel" isn't about serving others, it's about me.
When I remove the need to "feel" confident and focus on being of service... that changes everything... because helping others isn't about me.. it's about them.
Instead of thinking you just need these things to be qualified to help others:
❌Approval
❌Confidence
❌Degrees
❌Education
Remember to value these things above... what what makes you actually qualified to help others is:
☀️Creating safety
☀️Client informed consent
☀️Being present
☀️Your lived experience
Always make sure you're learning, do what you need to build your confidence... but know that you've already got the goods to start helping people NOW.
