A little introduction 🌼

Making art is what I love. I've always enjoyed being creative from childhood, making and painting gifts and cards for my family and friends. Being a school teacher has allowed me to be creative in many ways, but since coming back painting more seriously in the last few years, I've learnt and grown so much.

I mostly paint Australian landscapes and anything to do with farm or bush life. Having lived in a small town in central Queensland for a number of years, the bush gets in your blood and now, although we don't live rurally, we explore whatever chance we get. The endless expanse of ever-changing sky and light and shadows at different times of the day provides me with never-ending inspiration and ideas!

Home consists of my forever-supportive husband, three awesome kiddos and studio buddy Rosie 🐶 My studio space is small and squishy, but it's always a hive of activity with some project or another on the go.
