Melissa A. Hacker – S/T (US, Cassette)

Try to post more regularly, but need to find the time somewhere. Still my favorites of last year missing here.
Below all is this total unknown unique and beautiful cassette from Melissa A. Hacker. found this through a friend, who said this fits my taste perfectly and he was totally right. normally I don’t buy cassettes, but this is unbelievable. Dark loner folk as it’s best. Introspective lyrics, minimal guitar, melancholic and sad. Can’t believe that it’s all her originals. Best unknown find of last year by far. Really really rare to find anything that is great and not known already. Tried everything to find her, but missed. Someone out there should try it again, find her and release it on vinyl. Totally deserve it to be heard by everyone.
