what a life 🌟
When you achieve something random and within a really short period of time, sometimes you start to think you’re entitled to success and that the music will never stop. Instead of being grateful, you become arrogant. Well after about 2 years, all that happened to me internally and instead of learning and taking it in stride, I got pissed off and became bitter, which made things worse and me a miserable person to be around. What I’m realizing now is there is a beauty in failure because it humbles you. It enables you to start thinking about other people and things besides yourself and pushes you to actually enjoy the learning journey as opposed to being obsessed with immediate outcomes. Many times, you gain the opportunity to think more creatively too and build something better. So here’s to some humble pie because many times it’s better than achievement.
