FINALLY! Extended Holiday is alive and kicking. Over the last year and change, been figuring out everything from what the design language is going to be, what pieces were dropping at launch, to disappointing samples and what felt most “authentic” to the launch process after 3 months of having the product in my possession. Perfection has always been something that’s plagued the creative process, I’m so glad extended holiday was able to defeat that using pieces of identity that has always remained true. Pulling references from both Nigerian and American cultures using the (lack of) borders of travel as the theme to bring it all together.
In one way or another we’re all on extended holiday. If you’re not in your home city or country right now, you’re part of this journey on the way back to where we call “home.” I’m so excited for all of you to feel these clothes, style these clothes, live in these clothes… and most importantly become a community through these clothes.

To everyone that worked on each of these projects, thank you for making this dream a reality. It really does mean the world to me.
