The sculpted ‘Shuriken ( C.1840 ) - Senba Shuriken - and other old ‘pieces’ all creatively recycled from old stock of similar ‘vintage’. ‘Knives’ are a source of inspiration for my ‘Shuriken’ and Vice versa. Strictly speaking though ‘ 短刀’Tanto are not ‘knives’ and as the Kanji most clearly reveal they are ‘短’ Mijikai ‘刀’ Katana. ‘Short’ and Sword’ respectively.

Personal blade here - was crafted under the gentle yet most erudite gaze of my good buddy here @kg.handcrafted In his old workspace when I was able to visit Canada almost a year ago.
Such good times I’ll treasure forever.
