Someone posted this bill with “Jesus, look at this bill.” So I looked. One filling and a four-unit bridge, at $608 per crown. That’s one of the lowest crown fees you’ll see. Out of that $608, the dentist pays the lab for each crown, the impression materials, the temporaries, the cement, and the sterilization. Then the rent, the hygienist, the assistant, the front desk, and malpractice insurance. Every unit takes two long appointments in the chair. What’s left for the dentist is a small slice. Now look at the insurance line. It’s estimated at about half on most units and nothing on the last one. That’s why the balance is $1,590. The bill isn’t the scandal. What insurance paid is. Before you blame the office, ask what your plan actually pays for a crown. And remember, these fees largely haven’t moved much in DECADES. Anyone else having a hard time negotiating fees?

Which one is your favorite?🖤 Follow @zcdiacbabe for more zodiac related facts, memes and reels - - Fun fact: Your body is far more intelligent than most people give it credit for. Right now, without any conscious effort from you, trillions of cells are communicating, repairing damage, fighting potential infections, regulating hormones, balancing fluids, and producing energy. Every second, millions of red blood cells travel through an enormous network of blood vessels delivering oxygen to tissues that need it most. Your immune system is constantly identifying threats, your liver is filtering substances from your blood, and your brain is processing an astonishing amount of information from the environment. What's remarkable is that most of this happens completely outside your awareness. We often think of health as something we actively create, but much of staying alive depends on countless automatic processes working together in extraordinary harmony. The human body isn't simply a collection of organs—it's one of the most complex self-sustaining systems known to exist, performing billions of tasks every day just to keep you functioning. 🩺✨
Meet the antique dealer proving that good taste has very little to do with age. In a world increasingly obsessed with the new, Jamie Sharp has made a rather successful career out of the old. Growing up among the antique shops of Portobello Road, Sharp developed an eye for the unusual from an early age. But it was a £100 job lot of books bought on eBay that helped turn a childhood fascination into a business. The books, it transpired, were worth considerably more than he had paid. Today, his rather wonderful one-bedroom flat in Holland Park doubles as a showroom, filled with antique furniture, extraordinary objects and the occasional unexpected discovery. Almost everything is for sale, and the interiors are constantly evolving. He's equally happy hunting through obscure auction catalogues as he is restoring a Napoleonic bed that, by his own admission, will probably never turn a profit. And while the interiors world continues its love affair with maximalism, Sharp makes a convincing case for something rather more considered. We meet the young antique dealer bringing a fresh perspective to an age-old profession. Read the full interview at the link in bio. @jamiesharp Photography by @milojackparis #profile #interview #style #interiors #gentlemen
