British columnist Petronella Wyatt made waves with a column arguing that feminism failed women of her generation. Wyatt, who was in her mid-50s when she wrote it, described meeting a group of friends every week at a London restaurant. All of them were highly educated working women. All of them, she wrote, were single and without children. She argued that her generation was taught to put careers and independence first and to think and act like men, and that many of those women now feel lonely and unloved. "Feminism has failed me and my generation," she wrote. The column first ran in 2024 and is being widely shared again, with many women saying it describes their own lives. Did feminism make women's lives better or worse? #Feminism #Marriage #Family #Motherhood

AC Milan are set to switch from PUMA to the Three Stripes from the 2028/29 season, according to a new report from La Gazzetta dello Sport. The ten-year agreement is reportedly worth โ‚ฌ50 million per season, which would make it the biggest deal with a technical sponsor in Italian football. The move would bring Milan and adidas back together after a decade apart, with PUMA supplying the clubโ€™s kits since 2018. Their last partnership stretched across 20 years, seeing two Champions League triumphs and some of the most iconic teams to ever grace San Siro. adidas and Milan kits from the mid-2000s have been synonymous with some of the gameโ€™s greatest players, including Kakรก, Maldini and Seedorf, many of which remain grails for fans around the world. With a treasure trove of archives to pull from, Milan and adidas rejoining forces should give the game plenty to look forward to. Whilst the news has yet to be officially confirmed by adidas or the club, keep it locked to VERSUS for further updates.
