Last night, I had the honor of speaking on the @powertopursuelawrenceburg panel, and the topic was one that hits close to home: resilience.

I’m so thankful to have an event like this right here in the @city.of.lawrenceburg—bringing together women with stories of strength, survival, and hope. Everyone on that stage had walked through something heavy. Some were speaking from the scar, some from the still-open wound. We shared how those experiences reshaped us—our relationships, our priorities, our entire outlook on life.

And more importantly, we shared what—and who—helped us through.

For me, that was the heart of it: the power of community. When you open up about your story, your struggle, your vulnerability—it’s not about seeking attention. It’s about connection. It lets someone else know they’re not alone. And in that moment, neither are you.

There’s something tender and true about the way people show up when you least expect it—especially when life knocks the wind out of you. When you want the world to stop spinning but it doesn’t. When you’re holding it together with shaky hands and whispered prayers. That’s when resilience quietly grows roots.

It doesn’t always look brave. Sometimes it looks like breathing through the next minute. But it’s still strength. And it’s still yours.
