High on life. As always. 🤙🏼🤙🏼🤙🏼
Just three days after being crowned the first-ever Miss Grand International 2026 from Africa on October 10, 2026, at MGI Hall in Bangkok, Jihan Dimack's background has come under intense scrutiny from Vietnamese netizens. The trigger was a statement from MGI President Nawat Itsaragrisil, who described Jihan as a celebrity and popular live-streaming model in China. Vietnamese netizens then traced a Douyin account *@非洲十年* (10 Years in Africa) belonging to Chinese creator Lao Wang. There, they found a video dated January 26, 2024, now dubbed Towel Gate. The video shows a figure named Jian, identified as Jihan during her time in China, wearing only a towel on her body and head, inside a hotel room with Lao Wang while live-selling body care products. The video went viral with 140,000 likes, 3,564 comments, and 8,983 shares, with the caption "Ji'an taking selfies, Lao Wang sweating all over." Another red flag, 90% of the account's feed only features content with her, not like a professional modelling agency that has many talents. That's why a viral sarcastic comment emerged: "Có đơn giản là cameo k" meaning is it just a simple cameo. Netizens also noted that China's live commerce market usually prefers Eastern European models, so the claim of being a major celebrity is being questioned. It didn't stop at the towel video, a photo also circulated of Jihan in a pink top being intimately carried by Lao Wang in a public park. Brutal comments then went viral, such as "còn có mấy cái video áo yếm hơn nữa, nói model live =)))) nương thì có" meaning there are even more revealing bra top videos, you say live model, more like bedroom model, and a jab at MGI's 4B branding "B thứ 5 của chị chắc là Bit_h he" meaning your 5th B is probably B*tch, right. According to her official profile, Jihan Mohin Dimachk, known as Jihan Dimack, is indeed of Tanzanian-Lebanese descent, has lived in Tanzania, Lebanon, and Mozambique before working in China as a model, sales, and live commerce. #pageantdispatches #missgrandinternational

Bob cat 💔 We were so lucky to have 14 years with this lovely boy. The only cat I’ve ever met who had a favourite song. He could hear the opening of a ham packet from a mile away and no sandwich was safe in his presence. Our steady little sidekick, he was right there through SO much of the big life stuff. I’m grateful I could be by his side as he left us yesterday. I talk so much about joy here, and what a joy it was to have such a good boy for such a long time 😿
