Its portfolio includes Reebok, Champion, GUESS, Sports Illustrated, Brooks Brothers, Juicy Couture, Nautica, Eddie Bauer, Forever 21, Ted Baker, Quiksilver, Billabong, Sperry, and iconic names like Elvis Presley, Muhammad Ali, and Marilyn Monroe. Through a global network of over 1,700 licensing and strategic partners across 150 countries, Authentic acquires and revitalizes brands, expanding their reach through licensing, marketing, partnerships, and global distribution. Notable Investors: BlackRock/HPS, Qatar Investment Authority (QIA), Temasek, GIC, CVC Capital Partners, General Atlantic, and Leonard Green & Partners. Authentic also partners with global icons including Shaquille O’Neal, David Beckham, and Kevin Hart. Now serving as Executive Chairman, Salter has shifted his focus to M&A, with former Wynn Resorts CEO Matt Maddox leading the company as CEO. We caught up with Jamie for an exclusive Traded Sidewalk interview to discuss his acquisition strategy, building billion-dollar brands, his latest expansion into children’s entertainment with Care Bears, and what success really means. “Money is just a scorecard. I think success and happiness are the most important things.” #TradedVC #TradedSidewalk #JamieSalter #AuthenticBrandsGroup #Entrepreneurship
