A scientist is going viral for turning his lab skills into one of the most creative marriage proposals imaginable.

Instead of simply pulling out a ring, he reportedly prepared a microscope slide that revealed the words “Marry Me” when his girlfriend looked through the lens.

The photos show her immediately getting emotional after realizing what she was seeing, with the couple embracing afterward as she showed off the ring.

It’s the kind of proposal that feels completely personal to the person planning it — romantic, nerdy and memorable all at once.

My two favorite parts so far 💊 (4 months in)
