Baby’s first film festival! Nothing Love will be featured at @vcmediaorg’s LA Asian Pacific Film Fest, May 1-7! It’s screening as part of Cinema Musica on opening night (also director @dangclarence’s 🎂 ). I looked through the program and felt lucky, felt the power and hope that art is. It’s urgent we break bread and make noise! Big love and cheers to this kind crew who put their brains together for a day, still blown away by what can happen in 12 hours. Oh, the silly things we do for vanity... “Speechless”. “Scott, hold the statue closer to your face!” “Scott, kiss the Emmy, it’ll make a great cover photo!” “Scott, look a little less like you just had a heart attack!” “Scott, stop rocking on the floor in the fetal position!” “Um… can someone please get this man a drink?” My emotional support human. ❤️ Her dress had pockets, guys. POCKETS! Starting to sink in… On the shoulders of giants. You might be able to see these from some of the other photos, but this year’s award show came with a brand new experience for me: the privilege of wearing pieces from @charlielapson’s absolutely stunning jewelry collection. I don’t know what Elle and I did to deserve Mr. Lapson’s remarkable generosity, but I have never felt that cool in my life. Elle was radiant in his white gold and diamonds, whereas the black rings and leather bracelets Charlie chose for me struck such a satisfying balance between elegance and subtlety. I don’t wear “bling,” but I tell ya, maybe I should rethink that. THANK YOU, Mr. Lapson! And to top it all off, sushi dinner and dessert, courtesy of my very own leading man, @thomasjankas. I’m a lucky, lucky boy. Now I sleep for about 8 months. I love and appreciate every one of you. Thank you for gifting me these memories. —SC
