In order for me to operate at my highest potential, I push to challenge myself in unique ways. It reminds me that I am capable of so much more than I think, that I create my own limitations, and that I write my own story. I consistently seek opportunities for me to push my limits. This helps keep me focused, grounded, and in tune with my intuition.

I am a big advocate for living the highs and lows that make life an epic adventure, and this Adventure retreat was a testament to exactly that.

This weekend, everything that could have gone wrong, did. From tough terrain, sickness, cold temperatures, ranger rescues, quicksand, and lost car keys, it felt like we were living in a horror film.

The mental, physical, and emotional limits that we all reached this weekend were truly remarkable. I was with a relentless group of individuals who continued to preserver, even as the conditions got worse. It is always so beautiful to see a group of strangers come together in the worst circumstances. Strangers who have now become life long friends.

This adventure reminded me that I am an incredible human, who will create solutions in the most impossible situations. It reminded me that positivity is ALWAYS the answer, and that my light shines brightest in the darkest chaos.

So here’s to the challenges that remind us the answers are within us. Go outside and challenge your body, your mind will thank you. 🏜️
