Last week, I spent the morning with my dear friend and bestselling cookbook author @adeenasussman in her sunny Tel Aviv kitchen. ☀️ We baked phyllo cinnamon buns spiced with baharat. The phyllo works so well here and creates a beautiful pastry that’s flakey, caramelized, and warm in the best of ways. ✨ Check out the recipe linked in my bio.👆
🔚 فوزٌ مستحق 🤩 It’s Nassr day indeed 😍🙌
💅Beauty manufacturer, McConnell Labs: the company behind @lightelegancehq, has rebranded to @modernchemistrylabs (MCL), following its acquisition by Impact Equity Partners. The company has also announced the appointment of nail industry authority and finance expert, Elizabeth Morris (@thenailhub), as chief executive officer (CEO). Of her appointment, Morris comments: “Before I became CEO, I came to this company with a brand I wanted to build. I know how much a founder puts into choosing a manufacturing partner, and how important it is to understand your options and trust the people helping you bring a product to life. I’m excited to bring that perspective together with the formulation and manufacturing excellence already here. “This transition builds on the decades-long manufacturing foundation established in Redmond, Oregon, while introducing the capital and strategic framework necessary for scaled expansion. Our focus is strictly on delivering high-performance chemistry, clear communication, and reliable execution for our brand partners.” MCL will continue to operate from the Redmond facility, with the name paying homage to the predecessor company. Built on the manufacturing foundation of McConnell Labs, MCL currently formulates and manufactures specialised UV gel systems, as well as skincare, beauty and personal care products. The way it looks Vs. the way it feels. I haven’t posted much this week because I realized I’ve shared so many beautiful moments without sharing much of what I’m carrying through them. These moments are real. So are the anxiety, the health struggles, the difficult news, and the effort it sometimes takes to show up. I love the beautiful parts of my life. I want to let you see more of the person living it, too. Maybe you’ve been carrying something that doesn’t show in your pictures either. 🤍
