TOAST Renewed By | Bethany WilliamsΒ  For the latest TOAST Renewed By collection, Bethany Williams has used remnant fabrics and archive pieces to create a selection of one-of-a-kind garments. Writer and sustainability consultant Aja Barber met Bethany at her studio to discuss the collaboration. β€œIn a time when sustainability has shifted and felt deprioritised in the greater conversation, I jump at any opportunity to be a part of a collaboration that feels aligned and authentic.Β So when TOAST asked me to interview Bethany Williams for the second TOAST Renewed collection in its series, I was thrilled and excited. Working with people who inject such thoughtfulness and care into their work, can be some of the most joyful work you do.”. πŸš€ Tesla has finally revealed the next-generation Roadster, and its headline feature is something almost no production car has ever attempted: it can actually leave the ground. Tesla’s new halo car combines SpaceX-developed cold-gas thrusters with high-powered fans and suction technology, allowing the prototype to climb an inverted ramp, rotate through the air and land back on the pavement. During the reveal, Tesla also demonstrated the Roadster lifting itself over several of the company’s vehicles while moving. Acceleration is equally ridiculous, with the demonstrated car reportedly hitting 0–60 mph in just 0.81 seconds and Tesla claiming a top speed above 230 mph. The redesigned two-seater also features steer-by-wire, an active retractable rear wing and aerospace-inspired propulsion hardware that makes the Roadster feel more like an engineering experiment than a traditional EV supercar. After being originally revealed back in 2017 and delayed repeatedly, Tesla is currently targeting production around 2028, although the final road-legal specification could differ from the prototype shown. Is this the most insane production-car concept Tesla has ever built? What are your thoughts? πŸ€”πŸ’ FOLLOW ➑️ @hypewhip for more insane automotive technology and future cars! 🀝🏎️ #tesla #roadster #cars #electriccar #supercar
