For years, Iโve watched, waited, and prayed, believing that if Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. was truly for me, it would happen in Godโs perfect timingโฆ with the right people, in the right season of my life.
Today, I find myself completely speechless. As I look around the room and feel the love, the support, and the sisterhood, Iโm overwhelmed with gratitude. I am deeply honored to now stand among powerful, beautiful women who have welcomed me with open arms, as sisters and as mentors.
This moment is bigger than me. I carry a family lineage of Divine Nine members, trailblazers who have walked this path before me, and whose footsteps I now proudly follow. Becoming a part of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. is not just a personal milestone; it is the continuation of a legacy rooted in excellence, leadership, and service. Iโve finally made it to AKAland courtesy of the Exquisite Theta Epsilon chapter and I wouldnโt have it any other way.
