This album has been two years in the making — around this time in 2023 was my first time walking into a studio to record the songs on this album. And since then a lot has changed and happened that has challenged my faith. They say the devil won’t bother you if you’re not a threat, and there may be some truth to that.

But even in the midst of adversity, at the end of the day I always chose faith and through the struggle to remain obedient in this calling of releasing Christian R&B music, these songs helped me so much during those times— and that in itself feels like a God-given confirmation to release.

So much has brought me to this week and I feel nothing but grateful to have grown into this place of obedience. The @youversion Bible app ministered to me so much this past week, I hope you can apply it to your walk too 🫶🏾
