CAPTION⬇️….This week we’re tackling job interviewing!

My dad is the Director of National Accounts at BD. He’s been in medical device sales for most of his career and has recently earned his MBA!! Proud daughter right here😅.

Both he and my mom are incredible mentors to a lot of young adults starting their careers. I thought this advice would be perfect for Athlete to Adulting because so many of us haven’t had the chance to practice interviews or even get internships. It can be SO intimidating to feel unprepared for an interview process…so here’s Pops advice for you!

1. Bring the positive energy🔋⚡️👊🏼
2. Ask questions and be curious 🧐🙋🏼‍♀️❓
3. Ask for the job💪🏼🎊✅

Good luck🤭!

You content is amazing i was an athlete literally half my life & nobody talks about transitioning from a life revolving around sports! You’re doing gods work & i appreciate you for it! They never talk about how like 70 percent of the work places aren’t made for people who’s 6’7 and up the ergonomics is terrible in work environments especially in factory jobs! everything is made for average height people & the ones that are apart of the 1% of people that are 6’7 & taller just have to suffer from they way god made us! Every things it’s so cracked up to be tall & bigger than 99% of the worlds population until they have to work a job in a factory where they have to bend over backwards for 8-12 a day 5 days a week on a job that’s made for someone that is half your size We shouldn’t be confided & marginalized to just playing sport because of our size! At what point do we talk about the disability that comes with big tall! We hardly fit thru the average door, riding on a plane is extremely uncomfortable, simple things like finding clothes are made a hassle, we have to sleep in the biggest beds costing us more money! Don’t get me started on finding transportation that’s appropriate for use forcing use to have to buy the biggest which equals more money spent on gas! It’s not all sunshine & rainbow & nobody understands our struggle because nobody can relate to the way we suffer!
