Fire spotted on the next ridge over from @skyline.village.inn. We have a lot of wind today and there are so many trees on the ground. Praying for a quick containment.

I recently had my last day @newyorkermag!! I feel incredibly lucky to have spent the past five years working with and learning from the best.

A big thank you to @nblechman for bringing me on the team, to @sunshtine, @supriyakalidas, @aviva.michaelov, and @zsigmonda for the mentorship, and to @elliotdickinsonwright, @v.ctorguan, @_auroracolon, and @benkothe for the many lunches and occasionally lending me your critical eye <3

Shout out to @lucigutierrezillustration for the amazing portrait on my farewell card :’-)

To all the illustrators I had the opportunity to work with, it was a pleasure!

Now, on to the next chapter :-)

Every year, Diwali fills my heart a little more. I’m so grateful to be welcomed into so many beautiful celebrations with friends who feel like family.

And I have to talk about the fashion, because I am truly obsessed. The rich jewel tones, the intricate embroidery, the way every lehenga catches the light. There’s so much history, artistry, and love woven into every single piece, and you can feel it when you wear it. I’m constantly in awe of the craftsmanship and the way each outfit tells a story. Getting to wear something this beautiful is an honor I never take for granted.

Thank you to everyone who has opened your homes and shared your traditions with me. Wishing you all a Diwali full of light, love, and sweetness.

Good night

A new kitchen favourite: my @miele steam oven 🌫️🥦 I love how easy it makes preparing vegetables - steam cooking helps retain almost all vitamins and minerals while preserving the natural flavour, colour and texture of the ingredients.

A gentle and convenient way to create delicious, nutritious dinners in no time - especially when having friends over. More time enjoying good food and great company!
