RELEASE NEHA BORA IMMEDIATELY! After a lot of pressure on Delhi Police, we have been informed about Neha's whereabouts. They have been transported across Delhi for 5 hours where they were the lone detainee. Our lawyers have met Neha at the R K Puram station. It is mid night and police is not giving any clarity about their release. Neha has been sick for the past few days and needs medicines. The police is even refusing us to give them that. Why is Delhi Police holding Neha until Mid Night in a Police station? When will Neha be released? Why is a women student leader being put in a police station at mid night?
Travel is amazing and it can be absolutely wonderful for your person growth. But not unlike reading, it doesn’t mean that everybody who does it…will grow as a person. Some people may choose to travel mainly to resorts, just like some people may choose to pickup books with the goal to confirm their existing biases. The decision to expose yourself to more has to require you to first relinquish control over what you “need” to get from something. And second, if you’ll allow yourself to be minimally disruptive over what you are observing as an existing and breathing atmosphere. - I am not a travel influencer, per se, but I grew up right outside of the Yosemite Nat. Park and I have some strong opinions on the way social media has impacted tourism. Too many people are destination oriented and final experience driven, now. It removes a lot of the effort and experimentation that is required for true adventure. I understand using reviews to make a decision. But does every single thing you experience have to be curated by social media reviews? Recommendations from influencers? A Map, a tingle of curiosity, and your feet, will take you to some wonderful places IN BETWEEN. I believe a lot of the places I frequented as a kid were beautiful to see people from all over the world experience. But as soon as social media came about, it made it easier to discover a new spot. Which in turn lowered the barrier of effort to find and discover things. When you lower that barrier of effort, it’s often people treat a place as a stop off point in their own story and begin to disregard that place they found as worthy of respect in its own vacuum. You’ll notice I don’t tag specific destinations in my life adventures. It’s not to make you mad, it’s to inspire you. To have less meals that are promised by 5 ⭐️ reviews. To look out the window while you travel. And maybe don’t edit the fucking photos until you get home ☺️ - In a sense, I did visit Japan. 🇯🇵 But in a sense I feel like know less about it now. And possibly less about who I thought I was. And for now, I am ok with that. Earn your next favorite spots, with google maps and a little fuckin’ whimsy.
