Phenomenal series! Michael Iskander is extraordinary in the role of David. If you catch a video on YouTube with Michael Iskander and Johnathan Roumie, you see this young man is wise beyond his years. This was a great conversation between Johnathan and Michael. You need to watch the whole conversation. If you don't see Michael and Johnathan hug at the end, then you haven't seen all of it. This movie is so powerful. Since a little girl I heard about the story and seen other movies but not like this one. It teaches you not to fear when facing adversity especially when you have God on your side. David in the Bible had a great calling on His life from God. It also teaches that outward appearances can be deceiving and it’s what’s in the heart that counts. David was humble and had a heart after God’s own heart.
