Bridging Ages With Music🎶

No better way to celebrate spring than by sharing music and making friends at Inspir!☀️🎶

We had students as young as 4 years old performing, and were thrilled to welcome special guest Melvin Greenwich, a professional cellist and performer, who joined us on Ode to Joy, Dreams and Let It Be.
We were also honored by the presence of Inspir resident Jerry Lindenstraus, a Holocaust survivor, making this month’s visit especially meaningful.

Musicians: 12 students— 7 from Ramaz, 1 from Collegiate, 1 from Frank McCourt, and 3 students of @aimsmusicnyc joined us as well
Grades: Preschool through 11th
Instruments: Piano, violin, cello, and voice 🎹🎻🎤

Memorable Moments: Everyone singing along to Let It Be, hearing original works by young composers, and the beautiful conversations that unfolded between students and residents.
Students were especially inspired by meeting residents who were published children’s book authors, psychologists, and talented visual artists, and learning about their lives. ✨

Thank you to everyone who joined us and made this visit so special.
