Oh my goodness, thank you so much Chicago. Thank you all for every kind message, every cheer out there, and for carrying me all the way to the finish. Thank you Andrew for making sure I was prepared and confident and leaving the marathon more excited than I was before. Thank you @calebjkerr for doing literally all of the thinking for 20 miles. I know we anticipated being able to work in more of a pack so doing all of the thinking and all of the work… I know that’s not easy and you made it look effortless. Thank you to all of my family and Matthew who made the journey. Matthew was the loudest individual out there, and I’m not sure anyone else’s family managed to get an entire bridge worth of people chanting. Thank you to the entire @chimarathon and all of the volunteers! Because of you all’s hard work, I’m able to chase my dreams! Looking out over the start/finish area while I was eating breakfast and seeing hundreds of volunteers heading out was so inspiring, and I’m so grateful. I came away feeling both thrilled and hungry to come back and see what more is there. But if the marathon is about who had the most fun… I think I won.🤭 📸 1, 2 @kevmofoto
