Matterport is popular, no doubt, but here’s the thing—it’s not as accurate as you might think, and it can feel a bit clunky to navigate. I know many agents swear by it, but let’s take a deeper look at why I prefer Guide for most of my listings, except in specific cases like Airbnbs.

- Accuracy Matters: While Matterport offers a cool 3D walkthrough, it can sometimes fail to capture the true scale and accuracy of a property. This is where Guide shines—it provides a more realistic representation of the space, ensuring every detail is exactly how it looks in real life.
- Clunky Experience: Matterport can feel like you’re on a ride that doesn’t quite match the property. It’s not the smoothest platform, and when you’re showing a listing to potential buyers, you want a seamless, professional experience. That’s why Guide is our go-to—it’s streamlined, easy to use, and showcases the property beautifully.
- Airbnb Listings? Absolutely!: For Airbnb properties, Matterport is a must. The Airbnb platform only supports Matterport for 3D tours, so if you’re working with an Airbnb listing, that’s the way to go. But for everything else, IGuide is our preferred choice.
