Kiitos ihanista viesteistä Helsingin Sanomissa julkaistuun juttuun liittyen. 🩷 Kiitos @helsinginsanomat kivasta jutusta🤍 Toimittaja Raisa Mattila/ HS Kuvat Juha Salminen / HS Linkki juttuun biossa #helsinginsanomat
Well… I’m another year older. 🎂🎉 Age is a funny thing… my perspective of life at 30 was that (especially as an athlete) I was over the hill, but now that I’m in my 40’s I feel the knowledge of life that I have amassed makes me feel somehow much younger and more confident in who I am. Despite my crash and all of the things that have happened to me, the good, the bad the ugly… I’m always thankful to be in this life. Thankful for all the love and support I’ve received. 🙏🏻❤️ cheers to another one!
The first ever FIFA game was released in 1993 and became a massive success, starting a franchise that would last for almost 30 years. Over the years, FIFA went from a simple football game to one of the biggest gaming franchises in the world. It became a huge part of people’s childhoods, with Career Mode, playing with friends and countless memories that made each game special. In 2022, EA Sports released FIFA 23, the last game under the FIFA name. After failing to reach a new licensing agreement with FIFA, EA decided to continue the series under a different name, marking the end of an era. Throughout its history, the FIFA franchise sold over 350 million copies worldwide, leaving behind an unmatched legacy in gaming history.

South African Pastor And Wife Arrested After 200 People Were Allegedly Found Chained And Held In Inhumane Conditions At Illegal Rehab Centre The South African Police Service (SAPS) has arrested a 59-year-old pastor and his 58-year-old wife over the alleged kidn@pping of about 200 people found at an unregistered rehabilitation centre in Siyabuswa, Mpumalanga. The couple were arrested on Friday, October 16, 2026, after officials from the Department of Social Development sought police assistance following an inspection of the facility on Thursday, October 15. According to police, preliminary investigations revealed that the couple allegedly operated the centre without the required registration and authorisation and failed to meet health and safety standards. Reports indicated that some people were living in overcrowded rooms, with some allegedly chained to one another. Several reportedly had sores on their bodies, while the Department of Social Development described the conditions as “gross inhumane conditions”. Fourteen people were taken for medical treatment during the operation. The couple face charges of kidn@pping, operating an unregistered treatment centre in violation of the Prevention of and Treatment for Substance Abuse Act, and breaching health and safety regulations under relevant environmental health by-laws and the National Health Act. SAPS said experienced detectives and specialised units had been assigned to investigate the case under provincial police commissioner Lieutenant General Apaphia Modise. Police added that further arrests and charges were possible as investigations continued. The suspects are expected to appear before the Mdutjana Magistrates’ Court in Siyabuswa on Monday, October 19, 2026. Modise commended the officials and police officers involved in the operation for their efforts to protect those found at the facility and ensure justice for the alleged victims. The police have not disclosed the couple’s identities. The allegations against them have not been proven in court.
