Mike Sirota is not a name to be forgotten easily, especially if you're an opposing pitcher! "See ball hit ball" to its finest!

It’s called the mental load for a reason, because it’s truly a load. There is so much to think about and plan and organize when it comes to running a household and raising kids. No wonder moms are burning out when they are the ones carrying the majority of it. I choose to believe that there are many men in relationships with women who genuinely think that asking for a list is a normal and logical thing to do. But it’s not the answer. Frankly, it just adds more work to the plate of their partners. It’s just another thing to do. It’s another thing to remember. Let’s stop assuming that every part of managing the household is a woman’s responsibility to begin with, and start having open honest conversations early on about what mental parts of managing the household can be redivided. What things can you redivide at home? Do you struggle to talk about the mental load? Comment “Honest Motherhood” and I will send you the link to my memoir where I share my own journey with breaking from carrying too much in motherhood. #motherhood #momlife #mentalload #sharetheload #divisionoflabor emotionallabor householdchores marriage
Death becomes her.
Democrats won control of both the Senate and the House as they harnessed a backlash against President Trump. Mr Trump told The New York Times that he would accept the results. At the link in our bio read more about how the party won decisive victories across the country, reaching deep into Republican territory where voters had soured on the president and his allies.
Abad Morales, who owns a construction company in South Texas, was swayed by President Trump’s 2024 campaign question: “Are you better off today than you were four years ago?” Two years later, he is asking himself the same question—and now, he says, life has only gotten worse. Morales is having a harder time finding workers for his construction jobs and says the cost of everything continues to rise. His company won’t be able to host an annual toy drive this year because he has opted instead to use the money to help friends and local families who have been deported. His frustration with Trump has pushed him deeper into politics. Once largely disengaged, Morales is now running for the city commission in Weslaco and has become a Democratic precinct chair. By his count, he has helped register more than 350 voters this year. “I’m done. I don’t think it’s right what he’s doing at all,” Morales, 36 years old, said of Trump. “We need a change. It’s time to put our foot down and make a change.” As Texans head to the polls to decide some of the nation’s most closely watched races, Latino voters—who helped propel Trump’s return to the White House in 2024—once again could play a decisive role, this time in determining whether Democrats win majorities in the House and Senate. A recent Wall Street Journal poll found a majority of Latino voters picking a Democrat for Congress over a Republican, 53% to 35%. On Trump’s job approval among Latinos, only 26% approve while 68% disapprove—significantly lower than his approval of 37% with voters overall, the poll found. Read more at the link in our bio. đŸ“·: @gabriel_v_cardenas and @kgreenleephoto for @wsjphotos
